A Beautiful Saturday in Nanaimo

Darcy and family spent a hectic Saturday.  Skating lessons at Frank Crane arena.  A tour of the home show where she stopped to say hi to Aubrey from K & S Railings and then off to the Picnic in the Park Snowboard Challenge, a strategy session with her campaign manager and then off to scout sign locations.   "As a community we need to ensure that these types of things are available to people of all income levels."

My vision of Nanaimo includes balance.  Placing a stronger, balanced focus on Nanaimo's Economic Development as well as reviewing projects to increase our density in the downtown core while ensuring Neighbourhood Plans and the Official Community Plan are being respected. I would like to see more balance in affordable housing to ensure families in our community can live a life outside of poverty and fear. I call upon people of all generations to get out and vote in this byelection.
